The academy was held for domestic and foreign female inventors, entrepreneurs, and university students 

to provide educational programs to strengthen IP capabilities of overseas females attending KIWIE 2023 and to spread Korea's remarkable instances.

The academy started with the opening speech by SoonSun Kim, the president of Korea Women Inventors Association.
